TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR CREATING ADVERTISEMENTS

1. Content and form

Instructions and recommendations: The ad must comply with the advertising code. The advertisement must not mislead the user or reduce the quality of the user’s experience on the online medium. The ad should not use cheap persuasion techniques, such as rapid flashing, pornography and phrases that mislead users (e.g. you have a virus, a message is waiting for you, etc.). A clear and attractive message and good design are essential for good ad recall and response. The ad creative must fill the entire ad space. The advertisement may collect the user’s personal data if: the company collecting the data is clearly indicated; the purpose of the collection is clearly stated; provides a guarantee on the protection of personal data.

2. Dimensions and sizes of standard online advertising formats

For all ads of standard dimensions (300 x 250 px; 300 x 600 px; 728 x 90 px, 970 x 250 px , 1230 x 250 px, 1230 x 500 px…) the creative weight limit is up to a maximum of 200 KB, or according to the IAB standard. Instructions for preparing more complex ad formats (background replacement, ad break, banner, floating ad) can be found below in the Instructions and examples section . The limitation of the initial weight of the creative to a maximum of 200 KB, or the IAB standard, also applies to all demanding ad formats (unless stated otherwise).

3. Online ad formats

Image: .jpg, .png, .gif
HTML: The ad is integrated into the web page using an iframe. The client places the ad on his own server or sends all files to TSmedia in a .zip file containing one .html file (images, javascript, HTML …).
Flash: We no longer support this format on TSmedia online media. The client must convert the advertisements prepared in this way into HTML format. Tip: Clients often choose to use a tool like Adobe Animate in such a case.

4. Click (link)

Clicking on the entire surface of the ad in image or HTML format is prepared by TSmedia. The client does not need to implement the link.

5. Instructions for online video ads

On our online media video ads appear in different dimensions. We recommend that the ad is in full resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels or 16:9 aspect ratio and at least 1,008 px wide) in .mp4, .mpeg, .avi format. Other formats are also allowed. We will convert each video to ensure the correct format, which will be supported by the video player and the correct dimension required by the leased ad format. The video ad should not be longer than 15 seconds. In the case of longer creatives, the resolution is reduced, and we do not guarantee high quality.
